Public Report Links
By the end of this article you will be able to send one attendance report to anyone outside your organization, control what it shows, and switch it off when you are done.
A public report link is a web address that shows one attendance report to anyone who opens it. There is no account and no sign in. It is the right choice for a client, a parent, a training coordinator, or anyone outside your organization.
You control what the report shows and how long it stays live. You can turn it off at any time.
Create a Link
- Open Meetings and click the share icon on the meeting row, or open the meeting and click Share.
- In the Share meeting dialog, switch to the Public link tab.
- Set the three options below.
- Click Create public link.

The Three Options
Hide participant emails. On by default. Names show as a first name plus an initial, and email addresses are masked. Leave this on for anything going to an outside party, especially if the attendees are students, patients or customers.
Allow export. Off by default. When you turn it on, whoever opens the link can download the report as a Basic CSV or a Basic PDF. Leave it off if you want people to read the report but not keep a copy.
Expiry date. Optional. AttendKit describes it as: "Without an expiry, the link stays active until this meeting is deleted from AttendKit." Setting a date is the safer habit. A link with no expiry is a link you have to remember to revoke.
What the Person Opening Your Link Sees
They get a read only page with an AttendKit header and the words Shared via AttendKit. Below that:
- The meeting name, a Completed status, and the Google Meet code.
- Scheduled time next to actual time, each with a date and a duration.
- An attendance ring with the totals, plus the split of present, late and absent.
- A Participants table with join time, duration, attendance percentage and status. Rows expand to show each join and leave.
- An Export button, which is only usable if you turned Allow export on.

There is nothing else on the page. No dashboard, no other meetings, no way into your account.
Manage Your Links
Open Public links in the sidebar. Every link you have created is listed with the meeting it points to, the date you created it, and its current status.
Each row shows how many times the link has been opened under Views, and when it was last opened under Last viewed. A link nobody has opened shows a dash in both.
Use the All, Active and Inactive filter at the top right to narrow the list.

A link has one of three statuses:
For an active link, a copy icon sits next to the address so you can grab it without opening the menu.
Change or Turn Off a Link
Click the ... button at the end of any row.

- Open link opens the report the way your recipient sees it. Worth doing once before you send it.
- Edit expiry changes or adds an expiry date.
- View analytics opens a side panel showing the full address with a Copy button, how many times the link has been opened, and when it was last viewed.
- Revoke turns the link off immediately.

What a Dead Link Looks Like
If someone opens a link that has expired or been revoked, they see a short page that says "This link is no longer available", with the line "The owner may have revoked it or it may have expired", and a button back to AttendKit.
They do not see the meeting name, the participants, or anything else about your account.

Frequently Asked Questions
