Installing the Chrome Extension

Learn how to install AttendKit from the Chrome Web Store

Overview

AttendKit is available as a Chrome extension that integrates directly with Google Meet. Once installed, it automatically detects your meetings and tracks participant attendance in the background — no extra configuration required.

Installation Steps

  1. Open the Chrome Web Store — Navigate to chrome.google.com/webstore in your browser.
  2. Search for "AttendKit" — Type "AttendKit" in the search bar and press Enter.
  3. Click "Add to Chrome" — On the AttendKit extension page, click the blue "Add to Chrome" button.
  4. Grant permissions — A dialog will appear requesting access to your Google account for Meet participant data. Click "Add extension" to confirm.
  5. Pin the extension — Click the puzzle icon in Chrome's toolbar, then click the pin icon next to AttendKit for quick access.
  6. Sign in — Click the AttendKit icon and sign in with your Google account to link your dashboard.

AttendKit works on all Chromium-based browsers, not just Google Chrome:
