Participant Profiles and Attendance Trends

By the end of this article you will be able to open one person's full attendance history, read their trend over time, and check the exact moment they joined and left any meeting.

A single meeting report tells you who showed up once. A participant profile tells you what one person has been doing across every meeting they have ever joined.

This is where you find the person who technically attends but arrives late every week, which is invisible when you look at one meeting at a time.

The Participants Page

Click Participants in the sidebar. Everyone AttendKit has ever recorded in one of your meetings is listed here.

Participants page listing everyone recorded
Every person AttendKit has recorded in your meetings appears here.

The table shows four things:

Column
What it means
Participant
Name and profile picture, taken from their Google account
Email
The address they joined with
Meetings (7d)
How many of your meetings they joined in the last seven days
Avg attendance
Their average attendance percentage, shown as a colored badge

Use the search box to find someone by name or email. Use Export to download the list.

Open a Profile

Click any row to open that person's profile.

Participant profile with engagement overview and trend
A profile shows one person's history, averages and 7 day trend.

At the top you get their name, email, the date AttendKit first saw them, and an Export button for their history alone.

Engagement Overview

The Engagement overview card covers the last seven days:

  • An attendance ring showing their average attendance across that window
  • Average duration, meaning how long they typically stayed
  • Total meetings, meaning how many of your meetings they joined
TIP
Average duration is the number people usually overlook. Someone can hold a high attendance percentage while their average duration quietly drops, which is what leaving early every week looks like in the data.

7 Day Attendance Trend

Next to it, the 7 day attendance trend chart shows one bar per day, Monday through Sunday.

A day with no meeting shows no bar. That matters when you read the chart: a gap means there was nothing to attend, not that the person was absent.

Meeting History

The Meeting history table lists every meeting this person has been part of, newest first.

Each row shows the meeting name, its Google Meet code, the date, the actual time it ran, how long the person stayed, their attendance percentage, and their status.

There is a search box above the table for finding one meeting in a long history, and a View button on each row that takes you to the full meeting report.

Activity Timeline

Click the arrow at the end of any row in Meeting history to expand it.

Expanded activity timeline showing joins and leaves
The activity timeline shows every join and leave with exact times.

The Activity timeline shows every join and leave for that person in that meeting, with exact times, newest event first. Where someone left and came back, the session duration is shown against the leave event.

This is the level to check when a duration looks wrong. A person who joined at the start, dropped out for twenty minutes and rejoined will show a full four event timeline, and their percentage reflects only the time they were actually connected.

Exporting

There are two export buttons and they do different things.

  • Export on the Participants page downloads your full participant list.
  • Export on a single profile downloads that person's meeting history.

For a whole meeting rather than a whole person, use Export Attendance Reports.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do the names and photos come from?

From each person's Google account, as it appeared when they joined the meeting.

Why does someone show 0 meetings in the last 7 days when I know they attended?

The Meetings (7d) column only counts the last seven days. Open their profile to see their full history.

Someone appears twice in my participant list.

They joined with two different Google accounts. AttendKit records people by the account they signed in with, so a work address and a personal address are two separate participants.

Can I merge two participants?

Not at the moment. Ask the person to use the same Google account each time.

Does the 7 day trend include meetings shared with me?

Profiles are built from meetings in your own account.

Can I delete a participant?

Participants come from your meeting records. Deleting the meetings removes the underlying data.
